theatrical production and fancy dress enquiries within 24 hours of receipt.

Show Enquiries

• We take immense pride in personal service and attention to detail to meet the increasingly diverse needs of our customers - Show Directors, Wardrobe Managers and Cast Members.
• Phase 1
  Preliminary Enquiry
  Without obligation Dress Circle Costumiers will provide a costume plot for the show, images of the costumes and other useful information to the designated drama group or operatic society contact.
• Dress Circle Costumiers has the flexibility to supply either a full or part set of costumes to suit our customers' requirements. Larger orders benefit from a sliding scale in hire charges - order more and reduce the unit cost.
• All societies, musical and drama groups are welcome to arrange personal viewing appointments for the production team at Dress Circle Costumiers premises.
• Phase 11 - Booking Confirmation
  Dress Circle Costumiers will commit to supplying the set of outfits agreed for the musical or drama production costume call upon receipt of the security deposit. To avoid disappointment production teams are asked to note that bookings will only be confirmed once the security deposit has been received.

• Phase 111 - Information Gathering.
  Production, cabaret, concert and show enquiries that progress to Phase 111 will be requested to complete cast measurements charts. Click here to download order forms. Accuracy of the information supplied is essential to reduce costume call anxieties of wardrobe staff and performers alike. We request measurement charts be completed and returned no later than six weeks in advance of the show or play to provide adequate time for accurate costume selection and essential alterations.
• Costume delivery and return - Local societies are invited to pick up and return costumes should they wish. Dress Circle Costumiers can arrange courier services to meet the needs of long distance transportation. Charges are variable and calculated by the weight of the consignment. Aberdeen or Aberystwyth, Newcastle or Newquay - distance does not contribute to the transport cost .
• Finance - Security Deposits (see Phase 11). Invoices for the costumes requested will be included with the delivery consignment. Payment in full is required within 14 days of the show start date. The security deposit will be refunded less deductions for loss/damage/courier charges once returned costumes have been inspected by staff.

Fancy Dress Costumes

• Fancy Dress customers can be assured of imaginative assistance to select the most suitable costume for their themed wedding, corporate event or party occasion.
• Contact Us either by email or telephone to discuss your outfit and arrange a viewing or fitting appointment.
• Your advance help in narrowing the thousands of available outfits is valuable.
• Please confirm the theme or era of the event - Medieval, Tudor, Victorian, Uniforms, Film or Movie Icons, Decades such as 1920's, 1940's or 1960's all help in preparing for your viewing appointment at our premises.

Hire Charges

• Dress Circle Costumiers promotes a competitive, fully inclusive hire charge structure.
• There are no hidden or additional costs. For example, an outfit that requires shirt, tie, waistcoat & hat to compliment a suit is included in the fee. Also a dress that requires accessories such as hat and gloves is all inclusive in the fee.

Wardrobe Assistance

• A number of our customers rely upon only a few willing volunteers.
• Dress Circle Costumiers can provide wardrobe assistance to groups and societies.
• The service includes communication with the Director, measuring the cast, costume delivery for the costume call and collection at the end of show week and full support at the dress rehearsal.
